In Case You Missed It

Last week's presenters were MHS Vocal Department Octet.  These eight talented musicians performed Holiday songs.  This talented group is available for seasonal parties or events.

December 8th Club Announcements

·          Second reading for membership of Ronald Yohe, if you have any concerns about this potential member please speak to a Board Member.

·          Barb Christensen and Sharon Gibson Ellis presented information about a new community projects opportunity.  Rotarians can sponsor elementary students to participate in a variety of athletic opportunities within Muscatine.  To find out more please contact Sarah Lande.

·          Jim Stein and the Salvation Army are still looking for bell ringers; if you are interested please call the Salvation Army. 

December 8th Happy News

  • Tim Nelson announced that his son is engaged to be married!  He is also happy to hear his daughter perform with the MHS Octet.
  • Roger Lande is happy the Hawkeye defeated Iowa State.
  • Paul Kraushaar had a bit of a rough weekend with water main break, gas leak, etc.  He is happy that all is repaired.
  • Diana Gradert is celebrating two of her grandson's accomplishments in athletics and education at Wilton High School.
  • Melanie Alexander said the Holiday Stroll had a great turnout.  The Muscatine History and Industry Center had nearly 1100 visitors during the stroll.
  • Sara Fitzer-Huston thanked everyone who came out to enjoy the Holiday Train and donated canned goods to the Muscatine Community Food Pantry.
