Program: Mary Odell introduced Rose Mary Boesen, Chief Executive Officer of the United Way of Muscatine.  Rose Mary provided highlights of Muscatine projects...having just concluded Day of Caring with over 500 volunteers.  The motto of United Way is Give, Advocate, Volunteer.  A wonderful video showing 2 Rotarians was shown to the club to emphasize the importance of the motto. Those individuals were the
Campaign Chair Sol LoBianco and Bob Lande.

United Way got its start in Muscatine in 1954.  Today we are using a variety of data points to determine community program needs and effectiveness.   Our United Way is providing a safety net to many Muscatine families and serves 27,000 persons.  The United Way strives to be transparent and effective in providing longterm solutions to community issues by determining the root causes of those issues.

This year's annual campaign is now underway!!
