In Case You Missed It
Last week's presenter was Zaza Tsotniashvili, acting rector of Gori University in the Republic of Georgia. Gori University was created in 2007 and has about 2,000 students. Zaza and his team of educators, Levan Tsikaridze and Nino Pepanashvili, were in Muscatine to meet with Muscatine Community College staff and students. Gori University and MCC have a partnership through the U.S. Agency for International Development. This partnership benefits both MCC and Gori University by being able to reach out internationally. Zaza and his team were impressed by the hands-on learning environment that MCC offers to its students.
