Program for Today: Johnna Forbes presented information on the Iow@work program through Eastern Iowa Community College. They bring together a variety of financial, training, technical and human resources to meet needs of employers and job seekers. She shared that EICC has been a grant recipient for the program for around 30 years. There have been 4 offices located in our area, but due to funding issues most had to consolidate into a central location in Davenport. Through working with different schools local offices have been able to stay open with office space provided as a partnership. MCC has an office that is open 5 days per week.
