Program for August 18, 2014:  Bret Olson...Muscatine Community Y Update

Rotary Guests today were: Kim Warren guest of Shane Orr, and Bobbi Holliday guest of Charlie Lewis.

Happy News: Judi Holdorf has an idea for October's Goodwill Project and is hopeful that Rotarians will be the golf cart driver's for the Mark Trail Event!! Ron Yohe has a quote printed in his friend's book!! Keith Porter is very happy that his daughter has a teaching job as a second grade teacher in Lisbon. Scott Natvig shared an update on Norm Smith and asked Rotarians to go visit him at Lutheran Homes.

Program: Bob Allbee introduced Chris Boar and Brenda Christensen to talk about the October 18, 2014 Trail event. A Healthy Living Festival will include Fun Run/Walks, Bike Rides, Golf Cart Tours, a Blues Showcase from 5:00 until 11:00 pm. and much more!!  There will be activities all day long at Weed Park, Musser Park, Discovery Park,Riverfront Park and the Running along the River Trails.  A firepit sampling progressive dinner will be held in Weed Park from 4-6 pm.

Mark Trail was also on hand to introduce Rotarians to the fun day and evening long event and concluded by leading the group in a local rendition of Happy Trails to YOU!!
