Last week's presenter was Dan Kamin, comedian and guest performer of Muscatine Symphony Orchestra. Dan is a "professional prankster" who enjoys performing for audiences all over the country. Dan began his presentation by speaking about stress and performing one of his routines. Later Dan shared with us that he has worked with actors such as Johnny Depp and Robert Downey Jr. Dan will be performing all week for various groups in

-Rich Dwyer welcomed two new Paul Harris Fellows: Jane Daufeldt and Mike McKenna. Jane's personal and professional experiences were shared by good friend DeWayne Hopkins. Mike's background and professional experience was shared by Gregs Thomopulos. Please thank Jane and Mike for their commitment to Rotary.
-Keith Porter-Host families are needed for this coming school year for our exchange youth. Each student will be placed with a family for three months. This is a great opportunity that you are sure to enjoy! Please speak with Keith, Marilyn or Norm Smith if you are interested in hosting a student.
-Marilyn Smith - Upcoming Rotary Member Guest event on May 7th. This fun evening will include: 5:30-7:30 p.m. ride on "The Pearl" boat and at 7:30 p.m. guest speaker Gavin Jerome. Sign up now for this fun event!

-Each year we evaluate our meeting location and seek feedback from our members. An email was sent on April 1st asking for your feedback on whether you would like to remain at Pearl View Ballroom or return to the Holiday Inn. Please email your feedback to Karen as soon as possible.

-Sarah Lande encouraged Rotarians to celebrate Earth Day in
-Becky Furlong encouraged all to get tickets to MHS Drama Department performance of "The Music Man" on April 23-25 at 7 p.m., tickets are available the High School. Please help support our youth by attending "The Music Man"!
-Zach Klipsch shared with us good news for Camp Abe Lincoln. Families with a parent who are actively serving in the Armed Forces will have the opportunity to attend a Y Camp for free this year. This funding will provide the opportunity for 50 youth to attend a week long camp.
