Rotary Program: Pam Collins introduced David Arseneau, Grinnell College's Head Basketball Coach.  David entertained the Rotarians with his basketball stories and progress at Grinnell.  He has written three books about his model and style of Basketball.  One could say he started with pretty undisciplined players and has enabled them to play basketball in pretty unconventional ways and yet he has compiled a very successful record.  He has put up with players who refused to play, wanted to wear no shoes and yes cry!!  Today the student body at Grinnell fills the bleachers and supports the team.  Some of the game rules include playing for 35 seconds and then sitting out. Every game 17 people play.  Every 12 seconds someone must take a shot!!  The team practices for 1 hour and 15 minutes each day.    He said it is unbelievable how many bad shots lead to winning the game and providing confidence in the players.  The players have fun!! Morale is great and David say his "life is a holiday"
