Presentation-
Jim Elliott- Diveheart

Diveheart is a nonprofit celebrating its 25th anniversary. Their mission is to build confidence, independence, and self-esteem in children, adults, and veterans with disabilities through scuba diving, scuba therapy, and related activities. Using the unique benefits of zero gravity and adventure, Diveheart inspires participants with a “can do” spirit, encouraging them to take on challenges beyond diving. The organization, which was featured in the August issue of Rotary Magazine, offers free programs worldwide, including pool sessions, instructor training trips, and research partnerships with medical centers. To start a program locally, a certified instructor, target population, and program site would need to be identified before completing the startup process.
