Lindsey Phillips- The HyVee car show was postponed to Sunday due to rain. The event was still a success with over 60 cars registered and raising funds for Big Brothers Big Sisters and Special Olympics. The Next Fundraising event is Over the Edge on October 3rd. Watch for more information. Chuck Moody- Chuck’s son rode RAGBRAI last week, and the family got to enjoy a nice dinner after the race. Mark Roberts- Mark had surgery on his trigger finger last week. Clapping reminds him he still has a little healing.
Club Business:
- The pocket park dedication is delayed. We will update everyone once information is available.
- Mike Ruby had surgery on Tuesday. Please keep him in your thoughts. We look forward to his return in August.
- Sorry to share that fellow Rotarian, Jim Nepple, passed away last Friday. His obituary can be found at https://www.wittichfuneralhome.com/obituary/James-Nepple
- Follow the Rotary Club of Muscatine’s Facebook page, @MuscatineRotaryClub.
- We are looking for members to join the board. This is a great opportunity to get involved and give back.
Presentation-
We held an in-meeting service project in partnership with the United Way. We assembled 100 hygiene kits for students at Susan Clark Middle School and Muscatine High School.
