Presentation-
Chris Ciasto CCiasto@impactlife.org- ImpactLife

The ImpactLife Center in Muscatine hosted 104 blood drives across Muscatine County in 2024.
The host sites reflect the strength of Muscatine’s business and industry sector, with 26 drives held by local businesses. Additional drives included four hosted by schools, four by churches, and three by service groups. Drives took place either at the blood center or directly at the host locations.

The Muscatine Blood Center also benefits from strong community partnerships. Micaela’s Hope hosts an annual drive each February in honor of Micaela’s birthday, and Love Like Louden, in memory of Louden Lofgren, is another powerful awareness event that brings the community together.

Summer remains a critical time for blood donations. While 60% of the population is eligible to donate, only 5% actually do. Through education and increased access, ImpactLife is committed to closing that gap.
