Presentation-
Iowa Center for Economic Success-
Lindsay Trumbull is a client services coach for the Muscatine office of the Iowa Center for Economic Success. Before joining the Iowa Center in December 2022, she spent 16 years as a project manager for Growth Corp in Chicago, which focused on facilitating, growing, and supporting the SBA 504 loan program. Lindsay is a part of the Iowa Center education team and helps to coordinate workshops and classes and provide 1:1 mentorship. She also handles outreach, marketing, and development across eastern Iowa.
Iowa Center for Economic Success works to support individuals to succeed as small business owners. Services include classes, coaching, and loans up to $50,000.
Workshops and support begin when individuals start a business and continue for the lifetime. This includes establishing the business. Anyone looking to utilize this service will call the Iowa Center for Economic Success, and then based on location, they will be triaged to their local representative. Our Local office is located at MCC. They are working with MCC and United Way to also help people with VIA. They will do taxes for free. Last year they prepared over 11,000 taxes for 494 volunteers.
Their goal is to serve 1000 entrepreneurs in Eastern Iowa and have 75 new businesses.
In 2022 they served 510 individuals, 214 small businesses and loaned over $89,000.
