Happy News/Announcements: A reminder that Happy News funds go towards our scholarships.
Rob Yant: Excited to get the camper ready for the camping season. Lindsey Phillips: Habitat for Humanity fundraiser on April 10th for a new home they will be breaking ground on. Bowl for Kid’s Sake- Team Rotary raised $600; overall, the event raised $30K. Frank Iliff- April 30th is Rebuild Together Day- they will be working on three ramps and several other projects. Meet at the Rebuild Together building at 6:30 am. Lunch and T-Shirt provided. Micah Colbert: Got a new electric fireplace installed. Diana Gradert: Happy to be back from Florida, but not enjoying the cold weather. Rebecca Paulson: GMCCI Annual Dinner was held last Thursday. It was a fantastic night. Upcoming Chamber events Training Test Drive 4/8 8 am-12 pm, Managing Supply Chain Issues 4/7.

- We have met the $500 match challenge that Mike Ruby extended to support Rebuilding Together Muscatine County; thank you to everyone who donated to make that happen.

Programs and Services of Senior Resources:
Senior Resources is a nonprofit organization that has aided disadvantaged residents over 60 and disabled adults in Muscatine County for 50 years. Our mission is to provide services for seniors so they may continue living independently with dignity in their own homes.
The Senior Resources services include:
Home Repair Program- Provide minor home repair and handyman services to ensure safety to senior homeowners regardless of financial means.
Chore Program- Chore service addresses lawn maintenance and snow removal for senior citizens in Muscatine. Extreme temperatures and dangerous conditions can place seniors unnecessarily at risk, both physically and financially.
Meals on Wheels- Meals on Wheels program helps seniors remain in their own homes by providing a nutritional meal and daily friendly contact. A daily check gives seniors’ families and caregivers the reassurance that their loved one is ok.
Adult Day Center- The Adult Day Center is a home away from home for seniors needing care, support, or companionship. In addition to the care provided to seniors, the program offers relief and education for caregivers and family members.
Outreach Program- The Outreach Program aims to enhance the quality of life of Muscatine County senior citizens by providing advocacy and assistance to seniors attempting to navigate the health care assistance system.
