Happy News/Announcements:  Keith Porter is happy that Alec Mills of the Chicago Cubs pitched a no hitter on Sunday.  Keith also let us know that the Stanley Center has acquired the former Musser Public Library.  Frank Iliff is happy the Rebuilding Together Muscatine built an 87 foot ramp in Wilton last week,  longest they have built.  Mike Ruby and his wife JoAnne hiked the Greenwood cemetery steps last weekend.  
 
Club Business:  Rotary masks are being mailed to members that have not gotten one.  Wednesday the 23rd is United Ways day of caring, if you would like to volunteer, please let a board member know.  Our community grant project update- DJ Hawkins - PE teacher at the High School - let Rick Gosney know that he has all the I-Pods and heart rate monitors and they are looking forward to setting them up and using them.  We received a thank you card from Brian Prussman for the Rotary Scholarship he received.  
 
Program:  Our program was Clint Christopher the new Superintendent for the Muscatine Community School District (MCSD).  Clint was most recently with Eastern Carver school district in Minnesota.  He shared with us MCSD "Return to Learn" presentation.  This included slides on health and safety, academic focus, equity and family choice.  Summary of options include - in person learning or virtual learning, remote learning is an option in the event of district shut down.  Other areas covered were transportation, food and nutrition, health and safety measures, cleaning and sanitation measures, and protocols for staff and student illness.  More information and the "Return to Learn" presentation can be found on the MCSD website.  Thank you Clint Christopher.  
 
Reminders:  Next week September 21st at noon our program will be our District Governor - Steve Dakin.  The board will be meeting prior to that at 11:00.  Keep a look out in your e-mail for information regarding the meeting from our President Rick Gosney.
