Program: Dr. Pete Korpi shared his mission experiences over the past 20 years seeing his mission as his responsibility to himself and the world.  There are between 122 and 250 million persons in the world who need glasses. 90 % of these persons live in the very poorest parts of the world.  Pete learned as he went and over the past 20 years he has honed in on what he can do while he is on a mission trip.  In Zambia there are over 1 million orphans.  He has prepared glasses for many many children but really likes to impact the 2% who need it the most because having glasses is a game changer for them. It changes their lives from not seeing at all to have much improved vision.  He can see about 25 kids in and hour but as he ages he believes he must figure out how best to make an impact. He is deciding that he will help in Zambia, Nepal and Haiti because there is some infrastructure support for what he can do.   He ended with a quote..."Where you invest your love you invest your life!!"
