Program:  Jim Hayes retiring CEO of Trinity Muscatine shared an informative program on the evolution of health care from Muscatine General Hospital to Unity Health Care to the Trinity Regional System. The culture in Muscatine is one of teamwork and working together and was progressive compared to the Quad City Area. Collaboration and data collecting helped improve documentation of care provided which significantly improved the payment from insurance companies and the medicare system.  Trinity Muscatine depends upon the great staff working together and living as a lean culture while solving problems and improving processes.  The focus must be on the patient and not on the hospital hierarchy.  The rate of change is definately increasing. There are opportunities to serve patients through virtual visits!  Jim is proud to have worked in Muscatine.
