Happy News: Jessica Wittman can sing the song of states..and is happy to have new committee members for FUN!! (Mike Ruby and Paul Fitzpatrick). Janet Morrow is looking to fill the 29th Leadership Muscatine Class. Melanie Alexander is grateful for the Day of Caring help and the Studio Tour Event at the Muscatine Art Center. Diana Broderson is happy for the successful International Day, the Monarch Butterfly SendOff and is collecting puzzle books for vets! Caitlyn Ryan is glad the Hawks won and invited members to the Pub Crawl event for Alzheimer's support. Judi Holdorf is happy her nephew got married and her son and daughter in law came to visit.

Program:  District Governor Chris Knapp and his wife Vernette joined our meeting today. DG Knapp shared his goals for the District for the year. District giving to the Foundation is set for $460,000, Polio Plus for $70,000, membership growth at 2% for District 6000 He likened Rotary Clubs to spots on a Dalmatian.  Dogs are dogs but the spots when looked at closely are all different!! Rotarians bring tremendous strengths to the table.  This year marks the 100th Anniversary of Rotary which will be celebrated at the Annual Conference in Atlanta.
 
District Governor Knapp and Vernette met prior to the club meeting with the board to update them on the goals and upcoming important meeting dates and events!!
