Rotary Update:  Kim Warren guest of Shane Orr. Mike Ruby noted the passing of Rotarian Jim King. Shane Orr gave an update on the Upscale But Not Uptight Trivia Night.  Happy News: Mary Odell thanked Todd and Judi for filling in while she was gone. Naomi DeWinter said Table 2 is officially retiring since they won the Trivia Night but they might be available for rehire.  Table 2 was Nathan Mather, Jerry and Jodi Riibe, Naomi and Steve DeWinter, Mary Wildermuth and Kathy Haltmeyer!! Nathan Mather encouraged all to caucus tonight!! Keith Porter noted how much fun the Trivia Night was and expressed his enjoyment as the Emcee! Program: Tim Nelson introduced Dan Franz, the General Manager of Riverside Casino and Resort.  Dan provided an informative program on the Casino and grounds.  The Casino opened in August of 2006 as a major local entertainment venue. Dan is proud of the food, the facilities, the grounds and the staff.  The Casino consists of a beautiful golf course, gift shop, restaurants, and event center. Riverside has paid $250,000 in taxes and fees since opening 10 years ago.  Their goal is to create a positive memorable experience.  The employees are involved in many charitable projects including the Muscatine Special Olympics, Habitat for Humanity, Third World Hunger and playing cards with local senior citizens. Recently they have become "Elite Casino Resorts LLC combining Riverside, Rhythm City and another casino near South Dakota.
