Our core purpose: To inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy. JA of the Heartland covers 24 counties in IL/IA. The program met its goal to service over 50K students, finally returning to pre-covid numbers. The program engages over 2,200 volunteers and boasts a 60% volunteer retention rate.
In Muscatine, JA is in seventy-nine K-5 classrooms reaching 1,666 students. 365 students attended BizTown and an additional 457 students participated in programs over 6th grade.
Boos and Bites will take place at the Merill Hotel again this year on October 22nd at 5:30 pm. Mark your calendars now.
The new JA Inspiration Center will replace BizTown and open in Moline in time for the coming school year.
