Presentation:
Anna Dominguez- Flickinger Learning Center
Anna Dominguez is the new Executive Director of Flickinger Learning Center. Anna shared her excitement about carrying Flickinger’s 25-year history forward into its next 25 years. Since joining the organization, she has been focused on updating policies and procedures, training staff, building community connections, and strengthening partnerships with local school districts.
As Flickinger grows, Anna emphasized that its core mission remains the same: providing a safe place for kids to learn and grow while serving as a resource for families. The center provides programming that follows the school calendar for 139 days each year and is also working to strengthen its summer camps. Anna encouraged Rotarians to consider volunteering, sharing that even one hour a week reading or spending time with a child can provide another positive adult for them to look up to.
