Presentation-
Taylor Wettach-

Taylor Wettach spoke to our club today. Born and raised in Muscatine, Taylor is a trade and national security lawyer and is currently running for Iowa’s First Congressional District. He shared how his professional work has given him a front-row view of how international decisions can affect local communities.

Taylor discussed the impact of tariffs on Iowa farmers and the agricultural livelihood of Muscatine and the state as a whole. He noted that changing trade policies can increase costs for farmers and disrupt export markets they rely on, creating uncertainty for family farms and rural businesses.
